Christina Castilla Lyson
     Founder and Director

¡Hola! My name is Christina Castilla Lyson. I am the founder and director of Children’s Language Center Inc.. I am also a Spanish teacher in Oceanside grades Kindergarten through sixth. Prior to teaching Spanish I was an art teacher for six years at Albert Leonard Middle School in New Rochelle, New York. I was born and raised in New Rochelle. I learned to speak Spanish and English in my home. My parents are from Cuba and it was very important to them that my sister and I speak our heritage language fluently and be bilingual. I now live on Long Island with my husband and two boys ages six and two.

 My Hispanic background, along with teaching my students and my own children has inspired me to create a foreign language program for children ages one year to five years.  The Children’s Language Center Inc. is my vision for creating a more bilingual culture. I hope you will join me.
